1. Inspection Process
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd conducts visual roadside and on-site vehicle inspections. Inspections are non-invasive and do not involve dismantling, removing, disassembling, repairing, or modifying vehicle components unless specifically authorised by the vehicle owner.
Our inspections are intended to provide a professional opinion on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection only.

2. Buyer’s Acknowledgement
* The inspection report is prepared exclusively for the client who purchased the inspection service.
* Inspection reports will not be shared with the seller or any third party without the client’s consent.
* Clients may discuss inspection findings with the seller; however, they cannot require Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd to provide copies of reports to any third party.
* Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd provides factual observations and professional opinions regarding the vehicle’s condition but does not advise whether a client should purchase or not purchase a vehicle.
* The final purchase decision remains solely the responsibility of the client.

3. Seller’s Acknowledgement
* Inspections are visual in nature and do not include dismantling or opening components for diagnostic purposes.
* Test drives are only conducted with the seller’s permission and in accordance with all applicable road laws.
* The vehicle will be returned in substantially the same condition as received unless a pre-existing fault prevents continued operation.
* Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd does not collect personal ownership information beyond what is reasonably required to conduct the inspection.

4. General Inspection Policies
* Inspectors are qualified professionals and can provide identification upon request.
* No vehicle components are intentionally removed during a standard inspection.
* All inspections are conducted in accordance with Australian road rules and safety requirements.
* Unregistered vehicles will not be road-tested unless legally permitted and appropriate trade plates or permits are provided.
* Inspections must be carried out in a safe and accessible location.
* Weather, lighting, location restrictions, seller cooperation, and vehicle cleanliness may affect the scope of inspection.

5. Scope of Inspection
The inspection service may include:
* Visual assessment of the vehicle’s condition.
* Diagnostic scan where equipment compatibility allows.
* Road test where legally permitted and safe.
* Inspection of accessible mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, tyre, and body components.
* Review of available service records supplied by the seller or client.
The inspection does not include:
* Removal of covers, trims, panels, engine components, or underbody components.
* Internal engine, gearbox, differential, battery, or hybrid system disassembly.
* Destructive testing.
* Engineering certification.
* Compliance certification.
* Roadworthy, Blue Slip, Pink Slip, or Safety Certificate inspections.

6. Liability and Limitations
* Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd does not guarantee the future reliability, durability, or performance of any vehicle.
* Inspection findings reflect the condition observed at the time of inspection only.
* Hidden, intermittent, internal, future, developing, or undisclosed faults may not be detectable during a visual inspection.
* Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd is not responsible for faults that occur after the inspection has been completed.
* The service provided is not equivalent to a workshop teardown inspection.
* No warranty, guarantee, certification, or insurance is provided regarding the vehicle’s future condition.

7. Legal and Ownership Matters
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd does not verify:
* Legal ownership of the vehicle.
* Odometer accuracy.
* Vehicle identity beyond visible identification markings.
* Financial encumbrances.
* Stolen vehicle status.
* Written-off vehicle status.
* Registration validity.
* Fraudulent activity by buyers or sellers.
Clients are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and obtaining relevant government and legal checks.

8. Vehicle History Reports (PPSR)
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd does not provide PPSR reports unless specifically agreed in writing.
Clients are responsible for obtaining any PPSR, vehicle history, finance, stolen vehicle, or written-off vehicle reports at their own expense.

9. Remote Vehicle Purchases
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd strongly recommends that clients exercise caution when purchasing vehicles remotely.
Clients should not rely solely on:
* Photographs.
* Videos.
* Advertisements.
* Verbal representations.
* Inspection reports.
An inspection report forms only one part of the overall vehicle purchasing process.
If a client disagrees with this policy, they may cancel and receive a full refund prior to commencement of the inspection.

10. Test Drive Conditions
Test drives are only performed when:
* The vehicle is legally permitted to be driven.
* The vehicle is considered reasonably safe to operate.
* Appropriate insurance and permissions exist.
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse a test drive where:
* Brakes are unsafe.
* Significant fluid leaks exist.
* Steering or suspension faults present safety concerns.
* Tyres are unsafe.
* The vehicle is unregistered or uninsured.
* Any condition presents a risk to public safety.
Manual prime movers and specialised heavy vehicles may be assessed while operated by the owner or seller.

11. Repair Disputes and Post-Purchase Inspections
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd may provide independent vehicle inspections relating to:
* Vehicle purchase disputes.
* Mechanical repair disputes.
* Consumer concerns.
Such inspections:
* Are independent and impartial.
* Do not guarantee outcomes in tribunals, courts, mediation, or insurance matters.
* Are limited to observations made during the inspection.
* Do not involve dismantling vehicle components.
* Do not constitute legal advice.

12. Inspection Media
Photographs and videos taken by Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd during the inspection may be included within the report.
Media supplied by clients before the inspection may be reviewed at our discretion but does not form part of the inspection findings unless specifically noted.

13. Refund Policy
Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
As inspections are professional services involving travel, labour, expertise, scheduling, and reporting, refunds are not automatically available once work has commenced.
Any refund consideration relating to significant engine or transmission concerns must be supported by independent evidence from a qualified repairer or manufacturer-authorised workshop.

14. Public Holiday Bookings
Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd may operate on public holidays without charging additional holiday surcharges.
Due to staffing commitments and scheduling requirements, cancellations made within 24 hours of a public holiday booking are generally not eligible for a refund.

15. Booking Requirements
* Clients should contact Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd to confirm availability before booking.
* All pricing will be disclosed before the inspection is confirmed.
* No hidden or surprise charges will be applied without prior approval from the client.

16. Cancellation Policy
More Than 24 Hours Notice
* Full refund available.
Within 24 Hours of Appointment
* Full refund available, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees where applicable.
Within 12 Hours of Appointment
* 50% of the quoted inspection fee will be charged.
Within 6 Hours of Appointment
* 100% of the quoted inspection fee will be charged.
Same-Day Cancellation
* A minimum administration fee of $66 may apply.
Inspector En Route
* Full inspection fee is payable once the inspector has commenced travel to the inspection location.
Seller No-Show / Vehicle Sold / Vehicle Unavailable
* If the seller fails to attend, the vehicle is sold, unavailable, relocated, or otherwise unable to be inspected after the inspector has commenced travel, the full quoted fee remains payable.
These cancellation conditions apply in all circumstances and are accepted upon booking.

17. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, paying for, or receiving services from Auto Car Inspections Pty Ltd, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice.
